I would make an inappropriate comment about banging and computers but that would be inappropriate, so I wont. I'll just provide this image instead :)

If by "custom" do you mean you put it together yourself, or paid one of those crap sites like ibuypower.com to do it for you?

Power supply rules mate

Twin 12v rails and a total of 800 watts (continuous ) and I still would like bigger (but 2 years ago this one cost a fortune but it is a good make)

Nothing like that puff of smoke and the worry that it's taken half the rest of the box contents with it is there  :haha:

I've got to start building a new one myself soon as the games are getting slower on this one (oh the joys of shopping for bits  :banghead:)

Apart from a blue flash from somewhere off the mother board when you've got you hand on the graphic card and the metalic smell ( Like solder ) afterwards.

Wow. Those are huge power supplys.  I'm running a pretty beefy pc with way less power...hmm. Seems to do fine though.

3.16ghz duo core 45nm-processor (intel)
4 GB RAM @ 800mhz.
Nvidia 8800GT 512mb video card
32mb soundblaster sound card...
500GB HDD @ 7200rpm.

I've only got 400 watts continous to mine. o.0

All well and good but if your monitor is small that powers wasted !?
Before my Cumputer went to silicon heaven I was using a 24 inch wide screen runing at 2000 line output, I could do 3000 but that made reading web pages !?
