Weston is ok for bokking ( bokking does sound kinda rude doesn't it?), but the weather is kinda rubbish, and a lot of the pavements are pretty awful. The seafront is nice and wide and about a mile long, so plenty of space! I'm still getting used to people asking me questions about them, and always trying to get me to do backflips or 'jump really high', or 'go really fast'. I tend to practice at my local juggling club, plenty of height, but not much space!
Now, my mate who broke his leg, managed to break his femur, and really badly (it splintered and nearly came out of his leg). He was learning to run, tripped himself over with his springs, and went down in a kind of sitting position with his legs tucked under him, instead of putting out his hands to spread the impact out forwards. He also twisted a bit, as he has a back problem, and wanted to avoid his back. So he ended up with the force of the fall on his leg, with a twist to it as well. The hospital still think he may have had a weak bone, but we won't know for sure until it heals. I held his hand and listened to him scream for an hour before the ambulance took him away. So please don't break limbs around me, I've had enough of it already!
So please practice falling over on soft ground, and always spread out the impact!
