Spalding festival 2,3,4 May

They YBB have been asked to attend two events over the 3 days

Event 1 Static festival at the Springfields Complex

Event 2 Parad in Spalding

Anyone no matter what thier level of expertise is welcome. Last year this event was huge with lots of people. I could not bounce well. By the end of the day and with encouragement of all the bockers that attended and lots of practice I could !!!

It will not be as big this year, I am contacting the organisers next week to confirm thier requirements particularly around the parade.

Please can you indicate if you are available and would like to attend over the bank holiday weekend

I might be able to do the 3rd and 4th of May. I'm on nights both days so it'll depend how busy work will be. I'll should be able to and will confirm this closer to the time.

As discussed this event has two parts

1) static event at Springfields over 3 days
Anyone can attend no cost. We have been asked to walk around and do our thing

Need to know who wants to attend on 3rd or 4th May

2) Parade
Apprx 2 hours, significantly smaller and more themed than last year but over the same distance. Expect crowds.

There are some changes to the parade. It is themed. All participants are being asked to pay £10.00 each. This cost will cover

a) Liability Insurance
b) Themed Costume

We have been asked to supply between 4 & 10 bockers, our group is part of the pirate theme.

I therefore need to know who wants to attend and pay the £10:00. Also need to know what your Chest Size and waist size are so the costumes fit.

Time is short so please can you respond asap

personally thought  the day was good last year, we have learned a lot which will help us organise ourselves better this year.

Ohhh man. I wanna dress up as a pirate. I would go if it was closer. Assuming this is the same parade ish i went to last time it was a good event. Good day. A little on the stressful side for me personally. Transport was a nightmare, Very unfortunate. It has put me off going again + I need to fly.

If I was close I would go. It was fun. This seems better for bockers than the last thing too.

For those of you attending the parade on Saturday 2nd May

Meet at 11:00 am at
The Polkadot Accademy
Cradgebank
Spalding PE11 3AB

This will be the central point, we will be fitted out with costumes and trasnsported to Springfields for the 13:30 Start. We will then be transported back to the accademy when the parade finishes which will be approx 17:00.

Please ensure you bring water this will be put on the float along with our first aid kit.
