British Juggling Convention
« on: March 28, 2010, 12:58:15 PM »
I don't know where this should go but this seemed the most likely place.

next weekish (7th - 11th of April) the british juggling convention (BJC) is taking place in huddersfield! this is a message to see if there will be anyone else going and to possibly try and meet up. there will be 3 of us with projumps and probably a couple of other people. http://bjc2010.co.uk/index.html is where more info can be found. if you've never heard of it youtube it. theres never any trouble there as its just the juggling comunity who are all realy the nicest and oddest people you will ever find (in my experience :P )

reply or pm if even more info is needed.

hope to see some of you there :)  :Cyes: :Hoofies2:

I cant make it either this year, no diabolo for me either. I'm also afraid of poi, I tried it once got them tangled and smacked myself firmly in the nadgers.....

Got bocks, backfleep or broken face sometime in the future.....

I've got a fire diabolo, flung it 50 odd feet in the air and misjudged the catch and had it bounce off my chest, that was fun.... managed to miss my face so I'm not gonna complain!

Not so much the fire but ouch. They are just hot metal. I dont actually like fire diablos. They just dont look as good as poi and i think they look better with a light kit attached.

I like fat wire diablo, its a diable like 50mm with the string for it quite small aswell, the amount of spin you need to keep it going is impossible(ish) managed to get it going twice :P

Agreed, fire diablos are a bit rubbish but laser ones are so much more fun, especially if you program your own light sequences
