Rites with my pro jumps at the min because you need them tight i get symmetrical bruises on the back of my knee/top of my calf and i try putting padding in like a sock but somtimes it falls out... what is the advantage of a calf cuff??? if this has already been askd im sorry but i didnt see it any where haha

Hi Bounce

If you use the search function and put in Calf cuffs you will get loads of info

But to sum it up I can bock in Kneebars for about an hour and am in pain the whole time
In calf cuffs I can bock all day and the next day too with no pain (except when I fall

)

They are much more comfy and they are adjustable so if you have any problems with getting straight on the bocks these will cure it once they are adjusted properly

On lots of the pics i have looked at not many people have calf cuffs, why is that?

actually, I think rache/gixer does. The cuffs didnt keep still on her skyrunners haha. You do have projumps right?

Could be a lot of things. Coincidence, the people you have pictures of, what bocks they are on. But I would guess that it is simply an upgrade and cost more to have. One other thing is that cuffs have only been easy to get hold for a shot amount of time. so lots of people who are still on the same stilts and are happy with them might not want to upgrade. If you look at any pics that are more than say..a year a go or something then cuffs would not have been easy to get.

But..the reason you ask i guess is because you wonder if they are just unpopular. I don't think this is the case

if your bruses are where the spring joins the frame then it sounds like you need to raise the footplate, heres a link to a tutorial...
