Halloween Bock 2010 (London)
« on: August 28, 2010, 11:22:52 PM »
So it's coming up to that time of year again, and I think we should get yet another awesome London Halloween meet organised!

Info here:

Personally I am thinking of either going as a crash test dummy or a glow in the dark Viking!

Sorry the RR's can't make it, we are hired to do a halloween show somewhere else. Although some of us might be able to make it if they do not want to do the show

yeah we've been told not to make any plans for halloween as we are fully booked out sorry guys

Last year Halloween meets was great fun....

Wooo ^-^  I felt like a celebrity with all the tourist wanting to take everyone's picture.

I have already  made a start on my costume it's a little more more elaborate than my NeoN WITCH attempt from Last year. It's going be tricky to transport on the train, tho I'm sure I will find a way. mhm  ;D

Also hope to drag my brother along again.

ermmm...Not sure exactly which part of Basingstoke I will be living in by October.

But people are always welcome to bring a tent and sleep over in my back garden. - Just an idea?

My vote would be for the Saturday.

A long drive back followed by work the next day wouldn't be a good thing.  If it was on the Saturday I would then consider staying over.

Good idea but remember that most of the halloween celebrations in london will be on the sunday so we may be the only ones dressed up also we might not get the sort of crowds that we got last year if we turn up a day early

From my experience of london on a saturday night it is the lads lets get drunk night and you get a lot of rowdys

One other thing to concider is you will have to pay for parking on a saturday (if your bringing a car to transport costumes etc) but on sunday it is free

I don't mind doing it on saurday but will be going by train if we do as driving up there on saturday is a nightmare and I won't pay £30+ to park for a couple of hours and I have the option of leaving my gear at work a few days before

Yep it makes sence to keep it to the sunday as you can't park until 6-30 pm on a sat and my guvnor lives in the area and he recons you will be very lucky to find any spaces

Also you have to see saturday night to believe the amount of drunks in the city  :Claugh:

I'm currently planning to drive up Sunday am, so may be able to pick a couple of people up on the way if they are fairly close to my route.
