Calf Cuffs Minus Pro Bindings
« on: September 09, 2010, 12:46:48 PM »
Hi guys, :)

I remember reading somewhere on the forum that someone had bought the calf cuffs but ran into a few problems as he did not upgrade to the pro bindings when he got them.

Has anyone done this and is it really all that bad? I want to get the calf cuffs, but if they are unsafe without the pro bindings then I will have to wait as I gather they are going to be out of stock/not going to be stocked for a while due to the new model coming out.

Thanks!

John

The bindings would make no difference to the cuffs at all

But what you might have read is that 7 plastic clamps don't hold the cuffs properly

So as long as you have recent Projumps you should be fine

yeah i agree, i've tried calf-cuff-pro jumps with the normal bindings and they seem fine, but the new powerisers i use are very comfy on your feet
and i know DC uses normal bindings with out too many problems...apart from his ratchet buckles have gone :/

I think it;s just down to personal preference :)

i've seen a good solution to using calf cuffs with a old pro jump clamps. one of our RR members has put  hose pipe(or something similar couldn't tell) over the each pole..seems to work really well and it stops the cuffs twisting out :) :)

cheers. Parlby

hope that made sence.
