Helping a student out with a new TV programme - Look in!
« on: March 07, 2011, 11:18:06 PM »
I received the following can any of you help? If so please let me know so I can pass it on :)

I was wondering if you have any information about powerbocking society and opportunities to have powerbocking training in Buckinghamshire (around Beaconsfield), please?

I'm a student doing MA course in Producting and Directing Television Entertainment at the National Film and Television School (http://www.nftsfilm-tv.ac.uk), and I'm currently developing a new TV programme where I'm interrested in introducing new/unusual sports to the public. In my pitchreel, I would like to introduce powebocking and I was wondering, if you could help me to find someone who would be able to show powerbocking and give to three contestants a basic training within one day.

Hello, my name is Martina and I asked the administrator to advertise the post.
I have the full crew who would film it, and I'm looking for someone who could provide training and hopefully powerisers for three contestants on Thursday 31th March.
All suggestions appreciated!

Many thanks!

Hello Martina,

I would be interested in helping out where I can.  I have spare stilts that you can use, and can also assist with the training.

For the demonstration purposes, someone more advanced that myself would be more suitable I think, but there should be plenty of good volunteers around your area.

I've sent you a pm with my details if you decide you'd like me to help out.

Graham

Hi,

At the moment, I'm in touch with Graham about the training as he got back to me first. However, whoever else is interested can please send me a message with your details (where you live, do you have any spare PowerBocks, your experience, etc), and I'll see if you can get somehow involved as well!

Many thanks!
Martina
