I see filmmaking as a creative industry, however, films can be made without a hint of creativity and yet, something like telecoms, which I don't see as a particularly creative industry, often requires huge amounts of creativity to solve problems ect. I guess that is why I feel it is a bad way to describe anything. Anything can be as creative as an individual makes it, whatever the industry and job.
In a general sense, I imagine that arts, tv, video, radio, web design ect are seen as 'creative industries'.
