I agree with BmthBloke, age doesn't really make a difference when Bocking.  As BmthBloke said, we Bock with fellow Bockers with varying ages.  I am not concerned by peoples age as we are all crazy people for taking part in this sport.  It's not very rarely when you need to be over a certain age on a meet.  BmthBloke and I have gone into a pub on our Bocks and experienced the delights that is "Not Sober Bocking".  I am not suggesting any one should do this but BmthBloke and I are mature enough when to know when we had had enough and wore our pads during all the proceedings.

The only time that age comes into play, is that the older Bocker are more worried about the damage that could be done before jumping a wall or such.  A younger Bocker will just do it and worry about the conotations later.

Yeah the only time where age is a concern is when meeting new people.

For example I first met jono after talking to him on here back in November. He's 14 and I was 29 and although I know I'm not a axe murderer, jono and his family had no idea so please always make sure you're extremely careful.

I'd say if you are under 16 then when going to your first meet you should really ALWAYS be taking a parent or other family member along.
I'm 99% sure everyone on here is safe but you can never be too sure and I am positive if there ever was any question of someones safety then all the other bockers would pull together and make sure everything is cool.

Nice to see that at 40 I'm not sticking out like a sore thumb (just slightly swollen ). Look at the results and it seems to show that teens and early 20's we go for daft things like bocking, then get all sensible and think dinner parties with floral dressed colleagues drinking lambrini are fun. Then we get to mid 30's and realise that we've all been conned and go back to teen attitudes
