Im new to powerising and in my area no one has any, and i dont want to spend 135 on a novelty

i wouldnt say its boring, but its like anythink you do on your own its not as much fun as doing it with others, what area are you in ?

I'd say, when you're learning then its not a problem at all (better to fall flat on your face in solitude than in front of mates

), but when you get that bit of confidence then it definately makes it better to meet up with a few others

Hi Zazu no they are fun on your todd but yes even with just 2 it is much more fun.

For you in Flintshire I say look more to North England for fellow bockers at the moment. Cheshire Liverpool then Manc. There is a thriving community in Wales but its centred down around Cardiff

Id look up the vids posted by 'Athoul' gives an insite as to what can be done alone. It helps if like him you can regularly post vids. He then came into contact with others ( after close on 6 month solo) who were 25-40 miles away and now a m8 has gotr some and there is a guy 10-15 miles away too. So the chances are you would not be on your own for too long

ive bounced around by myself A lot of times.. its good for Practicing.. but keep focused on what your learning.

yeh when i first got my stilts i couldnt find anyone remotly close to me so i bocked alone for first 3 months... its nice to bock alone as well concentrate on learning stuff etc

I bocked on my own from Xmas til June, July, When I met Hilly n Trixter etc. It was brilliant bocking beforehand, and now its even better! Esp as now part of the EA Bockers!!!!

i was lucky me matttt and glen all got them within the same week 2 weeks but we all live in different villages so we all go bockin on our own i go in my bank and stuff on them most places dont mind but when your with other people its so much more fun but its deffinatly fun on your own

there's a huge area of grass like a hundred acres near where i live so il have a bit of fun on my own

Grass is quite slippy make sure you pop on some tyre socks first

yeah I just dont like grass, I know its nicer to fall on, But I like the 'positive' feel of concrete and tarmac. I had fun bouncing on the hoe ( titter not) in Plymouth last week on tarmac, on leaving , walked on some grass and just felt sooo slippy.

iv been browsing most of this forum so i think its best to 'pop' tyre socks on what ever type of ground your bocking on
