thanks for the warm welcome!

scouts? no good! im not allowed near kids anymore.... long story...

yeah i am mental, and a bit enthusiastic...i been out already... bocking? cant do it!

ok, how tight do you have to do the top straps up? the ones near the knee.... so its really tight and theres zero movement?

knee collar cuff upgrades... talk to me??

(i was joking about the kids :P)

ive never been caught......

Yep, that's the idea: as little movement as possible.

Calf-cuffs are great, they're in a different league altogether compared to the classic knee-bar.

Which type did you get? Exo? Exo pro? While the calf-cuff will go onto your Exo (with the black plastic mounting block), therein lies a problem (the black plastic mounting block).

The bars of the cuffs can have latteral movement when mounted in the black plastic - the plastic doesn't quite grip it hard enough and so they can move outward slightly when in use.

The cuffs are great, but for my Exo's I ordered a pair of Viper V2 cuffs - they come with aluminium mounting blocks (and have blown my budget out of the water, but that's not the subject here ;) )

Bounce long and prosper, mate!

Thanks for the info dude!

There not the pro version! Ill definatly order the viper cuffs if there better, I find it quite hard to do up the strap on the back of the knee bars so there tight!

Is it worth upgrading the bindings 2?

Do you have a link for the viper cuffs? I can't find them! Only videos on YouTube, thanks !!

http://www.lesbottesde7lieues.com/en/spares.html

The alu mounting blocks *should* be compatible. I had a whole conversation with an admin of the site - Adrian, a very nice and helpful guy - and he had his doubts, seeing the frame changes in the Exo series. But the mounting block looks identical to previous M series, so it should work.
If you can wait till later on next week, when my order arrives, I'll let you guys know how it went.

As for the standard bindings? They're good enough to begin with - and infinitely better than the bindings I had on my Skyrunners, but if you bock the way you talk, it's defo something to keep in mind.

The Supreme Wrap looks very much like the 7 League Pro bindings and, if style is also a concern ;) , would go well with the Viper cuffs.

But think it over first: it's not a cheap upgrade. The Cobra cuffs look to be good, too and come with the same mounting block, but I decided if I was going to blow my personal budget, I'd rather do it in style  And besides: every bit of extra control I can get is a good thing: I'm - technically - handicapped, you know ;)

Good luck bocking, mate!

Realph you have to remember we cant get anything 7's in the UK so the Viper cuffs aren't really an option, Pro jump is the only way to get decent stilts and parts in the UK

Hi Carl,

I think it's it's a yes and a no.
By - what I think is - your reasoning, I couldn't get either Pro Jumps or the 7's here in the NL.

And for their complete 7 League stilt collection, even have a seperate page stating prices + shipping to the UK.

I love my Exo's and I really like the customer care Pro-Jump gives - I just regret not buying the Pro version and lack the skill to craft my own steel/alu mounting block, so I looked for the next best thing ;)

That turned out to be a competitor...

the point i was making is that we cannot get 7's in the UK legally due to the patents not being paid as we have no distributors here, 7's France are not allowed to ship here

By that reasoning, I could only get Skyrunners, Powerisers or, as I discovered last weekend, FlyJumpers here in the Netherlands, and yet I purchased and own a pair of Exo's...

I have to admit, I'm not on the up and up on the whole patent legislation (and subversion of it, in some cases - yes, I'm looking at you, Skyrunners ;) ) but what I am aware of is the free import and export of consumer goods within the EU.

Last I checked, the UK was still a part of the EU.

Oh ell, that's jst my two cents. But then again: I could be wrong.

Koloan, welcome to the forum.

And chol8, my Vipers arrived in the mail today.
The alu blocks fit nicely, and the fit of the cuff is very good.
Though, for my skinny calfs, I might need to get a pair of those shin / knee guards.
The O'neal one look good. The black and white ones have a nice storm trooper feel to them,

Cheers!

Greetings,

I'm Sherwin, and I live in South Dakota over here in the States.

I got my bocks a couple months ago and have already fitted them with Tyre Armor. I've been browsing this forum for the past couple of months and gotten a lot out of it; so thanks.  :Claugh:

Hi, I'm Kit, 14, from Stowmarket, Suffolk. only been out on my powerisers 3 times so far for about 1 hour each time. I can jump two foot now. hop up steps, run, walk, tuck, hop one legged and jump grabbing one spring.javascript:void(0);
As soon as the weather is better I am hoping to do more, then i can finally go out with my mates javascript:void(0); Cant wait!

Hope to get some matresses out front in the summer so then i will hopefully be able to try to frontflip, as i can on the trampoline.

javascript:void(0); Kit

Hi Kiola,

One word: wow!

And Jason: no worries about you looking like an amateur --> I've already got that covered ;)

When I finally get my left leg under control, my bouncing will still look like baby steps :D (I blame the brain damage,... not the fact I haven't done any real sports for years, lol!)

Cheers!
