Hello all! I'm Ben (24) from Wrexham in North Wales.  Currently in my final year of a Computing and IT degree, part-time sales/merchandiser for Maplin Electronics in Wrexham, a doorlad at weekends and a mentor during the week. I've got to say though, i'm so glad there seems to be plenty of people around my age (and above!!) on here.
I'm a big kid at heart and been skate boarding and roller blading for as long as i can remember.  I got a bit bored a started doing parcour but there's no meets with people my age around here, and then I came across some vids of people bokking on youtube and thought.........that's defo for me!! so i'm putting my order in and looking forward to some insanity.  I doubt it'll take me long to become acustomed to the jumpers as i've spent a few years doing gymnastics and parcour.  Look forward to any meets near to me, but willing to travel the country if needs be!

Welcome to the forum ForestMunch,

there's plenty of bockers around wales, make sure you check out www.welshbockers.co.uk for updates on their local meets etc and the biggest meet of the year will be happening in Cardiff in August so you're at a great location to be bocking in!

Have fun

thanks for the welcome, nice to hear plenty of people round wales.  my birthday towards end of august so depending on the time i may be either too drunk to stand, let alone bok about or i'll be at the meet.  Circus type stuff, well, my family believe it or not used to be a travelling circus but that folded in the early 70's.  I'm into all sorts involving acrobatics mainly.  I like taking things out of the gym and applying them to the street.

I've got a bit of a problem if anyone can help.  I've tried 3 times today to order some M90's but the site keeps crashing out and stalling - anyone else experiencing this?  Any help would be great as i really want to get started.

That sounds awesome. Would love to see you doing your circus sometime. It facinates me. See I do the circus things but not pmuch good at it. Pretend to be tho. My performance humor usually works but at green peace.. failed really bad. It stunk more then thier post toilets did (if you can call them that)

Hey!

I'm a member of the JJ's!
Like everyone has said you have struck gold, the group is around 20 at the moment with around 4 or 5 based in Poole and Bournemouth.

Like Naz said we are having a meet in Bournemouth on Sunday 27th if you can make it, we plan to have a 1 hour gym session at the Sir David English Sports Center and then go and bock around bournemouth for the rest of the day.

We have a website: www.JurassicJumpers.co.uk
And also our own forum: www.JurassicJumpers.co.uk/forum

Would be great to hear from you.

Hi everyone I'm Rache and I'm in Norwich, I just got a set of Skyrunners for an absolute steal (unwanted Xmas present) so I thought I'd join up as I need proper instruction how on earth to use them safely!  Glad to see there is an East Anglian group of you guys about so hope to meet up soon.

I work at Norwich Uni and I also run a small business www.fuzzbutt.co.uk.  My other job is Imperial Sandtrooper TD-2441 of the UK Garrison:

I have a full set of Sandtrooper armour and attend events all over the country to raise money for children's charities.  I'm currently building a Ghostbuster and a Biker Scout too.  So far thru attending events I've met The Prime Minister, Mark Hamill, numerous stars of Sci-fi TV and movies, and I've had my photo in national newspapers and TIME magazine.  This year I'm also venturing into Power kiting and then Kite surfing.  I'm also going to the Burning Man festival in Nevada in September, can't WAIT!!!!  Would be great to take the Skyrunners to get around on but I fear the desert dust would wreck them :-S

I will browse the forum later and suck up some knowledge, so please excuse if I ask dumb noob questions  :-[ :-[
