Just in case you haven't read the Picture competition thread, there is going to be a guaranteed cash prize (amount to be posted soon!) for the winner of the January picture competition (donated by Pro-Jump) and the runner up prize will be a choice of any one item of protective gear from the Pro-Jump website. I will leave you to speculate for the next few days as to what the cash prize will be!!

I'd be surprised if the winning prize was less than £10,000 - in monopoly money anyway!
I wouldn't expect too much guys, projump provide this forum for us and the picture competition is just another way to build this community.

I shrink all mine to 640x480, so they fit nicely on the screen.

if they are ridiculously big.. like over 1000x1000 .. then it may be worth doing .. try to get it to the sizes of pics that you see me and frupet have already posted

Ref: January and February Picture/Video Competition....

...Lets make it interesting...

First of all, the January and February competition are going to be merged together, so the cash prize for the winner will be drawn from all entries in this thread (and the runner up prize too)

Ok, the top prize is going to be £50 for every 100 regular members that we have on this forum, (with a maximum value of £500) All courtesy of ProJump. Conditions Apply - see below

1. The competition will be based on pictures/videos (posted in this thread)

2. The prize will not necessarily be drawn based on the most impressive picture/video, its based on all levels, it can be any person, doing anything to do with pro-jumps.

3. The number of members must be deemed to be genuine members and regular users. Pro-Jump reserves the right to decide how many of the total members are regular/genuine. (The total prize will be calculated and posted in due course of the end of the competition)

I will be away until 21st of this month as of tomorrow (Lucky me!) so any PM's will not be responded to until I get back!! Im leaving (Uncle) Matt in charge for the week.

As I understand it, the prize will be £50 for every 100 members we have on the forum.
At the time of me writing this we have 196 members so assuming we get 4 new members by the end of feb then the prize will be £100. Should the members go up to 200 members then the prize will be £150 and so on.
It's the "regular" members bit that throws me since there are lots of members who's account are stale and are not likely to be used again, infact the whole board seems to be used by about 20 of us (based on members posting, not just logging on).
I am assuming it has been worded as regular members because this is a marketing idea for projump to increase the users on the forum - it will be obvious if people are registering 2 or more accounts or getting all their friends to sign up just to up the prize money.

Before anyone asks (and to answer a PM) I have registered an account called matt2. This has nothing to do with the competition but is because since becoming a mod I am unable to view attachments and everything we do doesnt fix it so I just registered an account which I can use to view the pics etc.
I'm speaking with my own common sense here guys, DO NOT go registering accounts to up the money and that includes getting your mates to. IF they have projumps/powerisers etc and a genuine interest or someone looking to buy them then thats perfectly fine. I would imagine anyone found making false registrations will be banned, and publicly named too.

unless they change their minds, only 1 winner.

I suppose its possible that if there were 2 entries that had something like someone on projumps dressed up as mary poppins while juggling with firesticks while bouncing on top a real life drunk elephant then they could say there are 2 winners. I wouldnt count on it though, and even if they did they would probably just split the prize money but never say never

I do not know.

I think someone needs to clarify if this competiton is based on projumping ability or weird stuff people come up with to do on projumps etc or something else. I dont think having it on ability is really fair otherwise the lindstrom brothers could enter on the last day and sweep the goods!
